Mosman Little Athletics 2018/19 season begins Monday 15 October!

Its finally time to kick off our summer season this Monday 15th October!

SEASON OPENING

We look forward to welcoming all our MLA families to the opening of our 2018/19 Track & Field Season this Monday 15 October 2018.

Our session times for the season are:

  • Tiny Tots 4.30 pm to 5.30 pm
  • Junior Session U6 to U9 Age Groups 4.15 pm to 5.45 pm
  • Senior Session U10 to U17 Age Groups 6.00 pm to 7.30 pm

There will be a line of numbered orange cones for each age group where athletes should check in with their Age Manager before being taken to their first event.

All athletes must be wearing their registration numbers (sewn or pinned) on their training top.  No numbers no training.

INCOMPLETE REGISTRATIONS

Please note:  if you do not have your registration numbers it means you have not completed the registration process and your children will not be permitted to train until it is completed.  You may complete via  [email protected]– 15 October is NOT a registration day.

WET WEATHER

Training will proceed in wet weather except when the oval is closed by Mosman Council (please call the Mosman Council Wet weather line 02 9978 4136 and check our Facebook page) or if there is a lightning storm.

BBQ 

This season club volunteers will be cooking sausages from our sponsors Harris Farm for our members and families.  These can be purchased from the Canteen at the Clubhouse.

UNIFORMS will be available for purchase upstairs at the Balmoral Clubhouse as follows:

  • Monday 15 October 2018 – 3.45 to 6.15 pm
  • Monday 22 October 2018 – 4pm to 6 pm 

PICK UP PROCEDURE for U6 to U11 Athletes

At the end of the training session all U6-U9 (Junior) and U10-U11 (Senior) athletes will be seated at their last rotation to await parent/carer prompt collection.  Please advise the Age Manager when you have collected your child.  The schedule of rotations for each Monday is displayed on the white board next to the Registration Desk. 

VOLUNTEERING MEMBERS

Volunteers must sign in before the session starts at the Volunteer Desk at the Clubhouse otherwise you will be considered a ‘no show’ and will be deleted from that sign up.

For example, if you are unable to meet your commitment on any given day delete yourself from that sign up and sign up for an alternative date.
