2020-2021 Season Update (August ’20)

Due to current Covid-19 Safety Guidelines Mosman Little Athletics will not be able to include Tiny Tots and Under 6 age groups in our 2020 program.

The Under 10 Age group has moved to the earlier Junior Session.

This will be reviewed mid-season.

Training for our 2020/21 Track & Field Season is every Monday at Balmoral Oval and runs throughout Term 4 (12 October to 14 December 2020) and Term 1 (11 January to 15 March 2021) of the school terms.

Changed 2020/21 season times for the sessions are:

  • U7-U10    4:15pm to 5:45pm
  • U11-U17  6:15pm to 7:45pm

Our weekly training sessions are typically structured as follows:

  • Check in with Age Manager at FIRST EVENT
  • Warm up for all athletes
  • Session 1 (25 mins)
  • Session 2 (25 mins)
  • Session 3 (25 mins)

Each week there is a rotation of activities to enable the athletes to cover training in all disciplines

  • Running including sprinting, starting, middle distance, curves, hurdles
  • Throwing including shotput, discus, javelin
  • Jumping including long jump, high jump, triple jump
