Updates regarding potential weather-related cancellations are posted on the Mosman Little Athletics Facebook page. If no updates are posted, please assume that training or a competition night will proceed as planned.
Unless George’s Heights Oval has been closed by Mosman Council (wet weather line: 9978 4136) or there is lightning, we will continue to train in the rain. Parents may decide whether they wish children to attend training in wet weather, but the club needs to continue to offer training to help prepare our athletes for competition.
Little Athletics NSW events typically continue in the rain, and training in the rain is considered part of an athletes’ preparation. Please refer to our Facebook page for training updates.
All external championship events also tend to proceed ‘rain, hail or shine’.
