Being a member of Mosman Athletics provides athletes with the opportunity to compete at championship events hosted by NSW Athletics.

Selection criteria for athletes in age groups 8s to 15s: Athletes are selected to attend this event based on their performance at the Zone Championships. Note that only athletes in age groups 8s to 15s can progress to Region Championships based on their Zone Championship qualification.
Regions with three zones will have four automatic places progress; regions with four zones will have three automatic places progress; and regions with two zones will have six automatic places progress through to their respective regions. Then a maximum of four next best qualifiers from each region will also be taken through to the respective regions. Making a total of up to 16 athletes in each event at each region.

Athletes in age groups 16s to U20 need to directly enter themselves to compete in the events they wish. Registration instructions for these senior athletes along with the registration link are shared by Region Championships organising committee and cascaded by Mosman Athletics to our athlete members.
