Winter Training Program at Balmoral
Mondays 1 May to 26 June 2017 – 4.15 to 5.30 pm
Registration for our Winter Training Program in the following disciplines is now open:
- Cross Country for age groups U7 to U17
- Long Jump for age groups U9 to U17
- Sprints for age groups U9 to U17
When registering you must select the discipline you wish to train in (that is, sprints, long jump or cross country). This is the link to register
Registration Fees:
- $158 (new subscriptions)
- $100 (2016/17 T&F Members)
The Sprint program will include:
- tempo/endurance
- explosive work/block drills
- technique
The Long Jump program will include:
- specific jumps drills
- technique
The Cross Country program will include:
- long distance run,
- hills & stairs work, and
- interval training.
Each group in the cross country program will rotate between distance, hills, and interval over the course of three weeks.
Our coaches for the Cross Country program will be:
- Tom Giles (interval training)
- Nick Walker (distance run)
- Eliza Peirce (hills/stairs)
- Nikita Spalvins (U7s and U8s)
The Club’s Coach Assistants will be supporting our senior coaches during each training session.
