Competition

Little Aā€™s and Junior Competition

Though Mosman Athletics is a training-based program and maintains a relaxed and fun atmosphere, we also enable and encourage our athletes to achieve their best. We run four competition nights every season, support and encourage representation in wider Little Athletics and Athletics NSW events, and also enable our athletes to train or get involved in other Little Athletics clubs if they want to enhance their skills.

Competition Nights

These nights are a fun way for athletes to put their skills into practice, strive to achieve their personal best in individual events, and compete against their peers. There are four competition nights per season, and they take the place of training. Competition nights are also used to record athletesā€™ individual performance in all track and field events.

Additional Training and competition

Mosman Athletics typically offers extra optional training sessions during the Summer season for U9+ athletes, usually on Thursdays from 5.30pm at Balmoral Oval. This is a great opportunity for extra training for athletes who may qualify for championship events, but you do not have to be a member of Mosman Athletics or competing at the carnivals to attend.Ā More information will be provided once the season commences.
