Championship Events: 2024/25 Season
Being part of Mosman Athletics provides athletes the opportunity to compete at championship events hosted by Athletics NSW. See below some dates and how to enter.
Valour State Relay Championships
Dates: 10 November, 16-17 November, 2024
Location: Sydney Olympic Park Athletics Centre, Homebush
Zone Championships
Date: 23- 24 November, 2024
Location: Blacktown International Sports Centre
Draft program Track and Field events. Please note that the events will remain on the designated days, but some of the times are subject to change.
Selection criteria: All athletes will be asked via email to express interest (and nominated events) via an online form (7s-11s) and for older athletes 12s-17s, they will be required to enter via Results HQ.
For athletes born in 2008 and 2009 (16s & 17s), you may enter the NSW Junior State Championships in March 2025 directly. If you’d like to gain valuable competition experience then we’d recommend you enter the Zone Championships too. More info can be found here.
Final team selection for Zone will be made by the Mosman Athletics Championships Committee.
Regional Championships
Date: 8-9 February, 2025
Location: Sydney Olympic Park Athletic Centre, Homebush
Selection criteria: Athletes are selected to attend this event based on their performance at the Zone Championships. Note that only athletes 8s and above can progress to Regional.
State Combined Carnival
Date: 1-2 March, 2024
Location: Griffith
Selection Criteria: All athletes are eligible. Entries can be made online (and open December 2024).
NSW State Track and Field Championships
Date: 20-23 March, 2024
Location: Sydney Olympic Park Athletic Centre, Homebush
Selection Criteria: Athletes 8s-11s are invited to attend this event based on their performance at the Regional Championships. For athletes born in 2008 and 2009 (16s & 17s), you may enter the NSW Junior State Championships in March 2025 directly.
